The Lemontree is one of Rincon's established hospitality properties. It was conceived in the late 1970's as a place where surfers could find comfortable family style accommodations. The Lemontree is built upon a couple of traditional family beach houses, constructed on the old Spanish Sugar Cane Train wall. The Lemontree is directly oceanfront with each suite affored a magnificent ocean view. Since 2004 Bella Jane and Todd have owned and operated "The Tree". With nine fully equipped self-catering apartment suites all directly oceanfront, The Lemontree connects people to the most unique travel experience and vacation opportunity in the Carribbean.
Over the 11 years of our operation we have hosted thousands of guests. The Lemontree has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence by Trip Adviser many years running. We are among the top of our class in guest reviews for Expedia properties with a 95% recommend rating. Why... its because of our location, our accommodations and most of all our staff of hosts.
Enough about us - its really all about you. We understand that and have been there ourselves.
You want to connect, explore, chill, kickback, grow, relax, deepen your relationship with a partner or family, enjoy a rum drink, some fresh seafood, eat out, eat in, watch the sunrise, watch the sunset, just sleep long. You get the idea.
Our Hosts are here for you... we speak human. We believe in what we do. Our guests are the only reason we are here. Its just that simple.
Our Lemontree Hosts
Is the Owner and force of nature. She is passionate about maintaining the Lemontree experience as the premier guest house in Puerto Rico. If you have called the Lemontree for a reservation its likely you have spoken with her. She brings her energy to all that she loves including traditional Puerto Rician music, hand crafting jewelery from natural objects and her family.
Wilson is a committed manager of people and situations. He runs the Lemontree on a day to day basis. If you want to know something, anything about Rincon our customs and people he is the one you have been waiting for. His family has lived in the hills above Rincon for generations. If left unattended for any length of time you will also see him working on his custom Jeep. Caravana...
Our Lead house keeper. Mari is compulsive when it comes to ensuring that guest rooms are as they should be. She casts an all seeing eye over the details. Yes... she sweats the small stuff. She is also a fantastic cook and will prepare our local food at your request. She is the numero uno when it comes to cruising the Isla in the Caravana.
Irene known to all as "The Kitty" has been with the Lemontree going on 10 years. She has a facebook page and a hipper set of FB friends than any of us. She will meet and greet; check out your suite and provide that extra touch of home. She works to ensure that the Lemontree achieves its brand vision through strategic advice and our guests their comfort in the analogue space through petting. Its really all part of the same whole to her.
Is the onsite afternoon and evening host. Likely it will be Sheyla who will great you when you arrive and see that you are settled in. She has six months to go until she completes her nursing degree. Pediatric and maternal nursing. When not at the Lemontree or book'en she chills with her friends and family. Movies... dinner out with friends. Mostly comedies as you would expect from an unfailingly cheerful gal.
Nana is a nurse but when she is not caring for the infirm she helps out at the Tree. One thing Nana cares about (other than the Lemontree or her patients) is sliding on the dance floor. Salsa, Merengue, Plena. If its about moving with rythem and grace she is all over it. She thinks her daughter is the brightest and beautiful thing ever fashioned.
Ramon is dedicated to the physical plant of the Tree. Paint, concrete, electricity, water... he is a key reason that the Lemontree shines. He does not speak very often or very loadly... confident that his physical presence will carry the message. Very definitely "son de la loma". In the family, he is known as the number one guy for making Salcocho. He is known to enjoy brews with his circle of friends and family at an undisclosed colmado.
FiFi is known in our area as a man of gentleness, modesty and affability and, as time requireth, a man of marvelous mirth and pastimes, and sometime of as sad gravity. A man for all seasons. All true... he cares for the exterior of the Lemontree and its plants. He has use of trucks of various sizes and if needs be can do hauling both great and small. He is as rooted to the soil of Puerto Rico as one of the great mango trees that provide shade and, in seasion, sustenance
Is the wife of FiFi and works with him on the Lemontree's plantings. She brings the Gaia touch with her. Ever attentive and always kind. Her knowledge of local trees and plants is deep. She understands what circumstances and conditions allow for growth.
When it comes to style and bleeding edge conectedness FaFi is there. Also very part time in all things Lemontree. Want to go clubbing or just find a chill place she is the concierge to the West Coast. She is a professional photographer and will do you an amazing portrait... all kinds... just ask. She is an avid hoop girl, moon tribe princess and frequently has been known to rant on about the virtues of lettuce.
He is the Lemontree's Muse. You really can't run a guest house with out one of these. He manages the Lemontree's digital assets. Also a former USCG boat Captain and Master Dive Instructor. Questions about fun in the water... just ask. He has a major appetite for breathing compressed air and sharing the underwater sphere through photography. He probably thinks too much about his four children and too many to count grandchildren.
